STEP 1.: Mixing
Mix together equal parts of each stick from the pack, knead and roll inthe hands for at least 4 minutes until the colours merge and becomeuniform and no streaks can be seen, and then mix for another minute. This is most important when mixing Ferido, It will affect the preformanceof the putty if it is not completely mixed.
STEP 2.: Extruding
The Ferido Pasta Machine/Clay Extruder makes seven thicknesses ofslabs or strips! Save time and get more accurate results with Feridomulticolor. The Ferido Clay Extruder features long-lasting chrome steelconstruction with a hand crank and a removable cutter head. It also includes a clamp for securing to the work surface.
STEP 3.: Adhering
If adhering the Ferido multicolor to another surface, ensure the surfaceis free of dust, dirt, oil, grease and silicone release agents. Smoothsurfaces should be cleaned with a suitable solvent or with soap andwarm water to remove dirt and grease. Abrading / Roughening thesurface is not essential but will improve adhension. Water will notprevent the Ferido multicolor setting but a dry surface will improve the sealing and bonding strength. At all stages from initial mixing to final setting Ferido multicolor responds to the use of water. To aid manipulation and avoid sticking, fingers and tools should be kept moistened with water. To obtain a smooth finish, mould or apply Ferido multicolor and then immediately wipe and smooth gently with wet finger or with a fine textured moist cloth. When tools have been used for applying or contouring Ferido multicolor they should be cleaned immediately after use with a wet rag or paper. If the Ferido multicolor is allowed to harden on it will be almost impossible to remove.
