An earring was one of the first forms in
the historical period. According to the
historians, the earring date back at
about 2000 BC. Earrings are thought to
have originated in Asia and the Middle
East. Then earrings went out of fashion
for about hundreds of years.
During the Anglo - Saxon era earrings
trend lost its popularity. The earrings
seen in that era were extremely small
and plain. In the middle Ages, earrings
were just not worn. The fact is the
change was the style of hair being worn
below the earlobe, so that earrings were
as small as those of the Anglo-Saxon's
would have not been seen. In the early
days, earrings were just worn by the
adult women. The men who had earrings

of the earrings; it got back its form by

was adored wearing pearls. The pearl
